      The doctors & nurses at Merimbula Medical Centre provide a range of services for your medical care.

      There have been a number of doctors who have provided service through the centre over this time and the medical records extend back many decades. Dr Frank Simonson took over as the principal doctor in 2001 and the practice moved to its current location in 2007.

      Some of the more common procedures are listed below.Medical consultations Immunisations for children and adults Pap smears Wound dressings Health assessments for the different age groups Preventative health checks Management of: diabetes, heart disease, asthma, high blood pressure and other chronic illnesses.       What is Limelight IPL Therapy?

      An IPL source known as “Limelight” which operates largely at different light wavelengths is used to treat skin pigmentation and tiny veins. It also promotes collagen production in the skin.


      Do you provide reminder services to the patients?

      Patient consent is required for the purpose of enrolment into reminder systems provided by other agencies such as; pathology services and Pap smear registers. The surgery will also contact patients regarding reminders for procedures such as immunisations, blood pressure and cholesterol checks. Please inform the doctor should you prefer not be included on the reminder system.

      We are open from Monday to Friday: 08:30 am - 05:30 pm.
