Consistently good!

Over the past few years I have attended the hospital myself and with my baby & I am always happy with the care given. As expected sometimes there are lengthy waits due to covid etc but triage nurse is always approachable & helpful. Thank you to the doctors and nurses, you are doing a wonderful job!

Renal Unit Duty & Care.

Im an ongoing patient at Shellharbor Hospital Renal Unit. Ive been coming here for some tome & it seems the nursing staff work in groups over a single patient & neglect others who are finishing their dialysis & having to bandage their wounds.

Ive never made a complaint about nursing staff, but this was over the top. I understand that at times nurses can have trying times & emergencies. But to see 3 nurses attending to one patient with a simple dressing change was uneccesary. I wish they can watch themselves do what they do & better still be patients themselves. It would truly sink in at the attidude & their so called joke towards me as a oatient.

Please get your act together & treat every patient with the duty & care that all patients expect from you.

Very disapointed but theres room for improvement.

I had to attend the emergency area to be checked out worrying that what I had might develop into pneumonia.
The staff in the emergency area reception where very quick to take details and put me through into a bed.
From there the contact with the staff was exceptional and always very courteous.
I have to praise all of the staff and doctors including my nurse for the day Cammeron who showed compassion and kindness.
I would always select Shellharbour Hospital if the occasion should occur and the choice was mine.

Hi i just want to thank the wonderful staff in day surgery at Shellharbour hospital.Allison who was wonderful so bubbly and efficient,Laura also.... the male nurse Peter.....so friendly and caring,Wei the anaethetist stopped me from being ill after waking he was lovely.....all theatre staff and the bubbly Lyn..made me feel so comfortable......and my Dr. Robertson ..helped me no end from my suffering.......it was a most rewarding stay and i couldn't praise the hospital any higher they were great........Ciao ,,,,Pamella llacsa vilca
