      Our dedicated Cardiologists are known for their technical expertise and ability as well as their personal care.

      The highly qualified team of Cardiac Technicians and Reception staff work closely with our Doctors to cater for all patient needs. We are able to admit patients to Port Macquarie Base and Private Hospitals, and have a close association with Sydney Hospitals, ensuring all patients have access to specialised cardiology care at all times.

      The Cardiologists at Port Macquarie Cardiology have played an important role in the expansion of essential cardiology services in our region and remain committed to continuing to improve and develop cardiac care on the Mid North Coast.

      Our experienced cardiologists offer a broad range of cardiac care including diagnostic and interventional cardiology services.

      What should I bring?

      Current referral List of current medications Medicare card Private health fund details Pension card or Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) card If you use a Ventolin inhaler please bring it with you.


      How much will my appointment cost?

      Our fees are lower than that recommended by the Australian Medical Association for specialty cardiology services. We are not a Bulk Billing Practice, however, Veterans who hold a Gold Card are not required to pay any out of pocket expenses, and some White Card Holders will be eligible. Pensioners & Health Care Card Holders are eligible for a concession. Please ask at reception when booking your test.
