Realized i hadn't stop a subscription that i should have done after a trial period.
14 months later i realized and spoke with New Ltd. Very helpful and acted fairly and quickly and refunded the period i didn't use. As i had two accounts running they have been excellent at sorting something that was my error.

Same as everyone else who posted a review, just realised that our credit card is being charged $40/$48 for 3 years now. All along, we had mistaken that monthly charge in our credit card was for The Australian, but it is not after all. We do not remember having signed up with News Limited / News Corp that auto renews of that much. This came to our attention only now because our credit card needed to get cancelled and replaced (due to disputed transactions) so I had to review the recurring charges. This is bad! Sneaky deceiptful company! I wonder if anyone else had luck getting a refund.

I signed up for a trial, tried to cancel it and apparently they decided to keep charging my business account for 3 years. Over $1000 to read the one article i briefly signed up to read. If i had used their services like SMH i would be ok with it, but its not worth the subscription and they are clearly paying the bills by tricking people into subscriptions they don't want,

I bought a subscription then cancelled within the month. $28 is STILL being taken from my account!!!! Even google says my subscription is expired. This is a JOKE and absolute waste of my time. Makes it as hard as possible to cancel how is this legal.

Offer people a "TRIAL" for digital news at reduced rates and before the trial expires they debit your account with the full rate. In my case $1 per week for 4 weeks but then debited my account $40 after 3 weeks. Told me they would have read this "Term and Condition" to me but thing is I spoke to no one when I started the trial. Funny that !!

They have been deducting money from my account for over a year. I'm seeking legal advice and demanding a refund of all their unauthorised deductions. Shameful news limited!

They are taking 28 dollars out of my account for no reason. I don't even subscribe anymore. This is meant to be the Daily Telegraph (NSW). Such an evil thing to do.

It's now 8weeks since i informed them of a double deduction after reducing my rate from $60 mth to $48 mth which "creates a new acct" didn't allow the $60 already deducted that month...3 x $48 now deducted.!! Told over 3 calls takes 4- 6 weeks...if they hold out long enough the cust. will forget about it...So others have the same problem!!!! There's always Consumer Affairs ???? Next

I have tried to cancel my subscription multiple times but they keep deducting $28 from my account monthly. The only way to cancel is via a phone call, which is time consuming and fruitless. There is no record kept of the phone call so they can deny it occurred. Disgraceful. I would not recommend this company.
