What is a boom pump?
A boom pump is basically the Truck mounted concrete line pump with an Unfolding or telescopic boom. Pipeline from the hopper is attached to the side of the boom with a series of swivelling bends allowing concrete to be pumped over obstacles or to great heights.
What is a line pump?
A line pump has a hopper to receive concrete from a concrete Agitator. Pistons or Squeeze mechanisms push the concrete from the Hopper through a combination of pipes or hoses on the ground to where the concrete pour is taking place.
What pump do I need on my job?
The equipment required on your site is dependent on many factors, such as distance to be pumped, concrete that is to be pumped, what heights or depths are to be reached. Where can the Concrete pump set up as obstacles such as uneven ground, overhead wires, road closures and AGI access will mean the pump needs to be personally selected by our competent pump operators prior to commencement on site.
