The philosophy of Cavenagh Medical Centre is to enable and encourage people to make the best health choices available to them.
We are an accredited teaching practice with GP registrars. These doctors are fully qualified and are undergoing their advanced specialist GP training. Patients are encouraged to speak to the practice manager if they have any queries. Complementary to our doctors, we employ three registered nurses who assist the doctors with procedures & perform ECGs, dressings, health assessments, & immunisations.
At Cavenagh Medical Centre we pride ourselves on carefully selecting a team who are at the forefront of general practitioner medicine to meet your health needs. We would be grateful if you would request sufficient time when making your appointment. If you have multiple problems to discuss with the doctor please ask for a long appointment. Minor procedures usually require more time than the standard consult so please advise reception when booking.
The clinic provides a full range of general practice services. Some doctors have specific areas of expertise – please refer to our individual doctor profiles on our staff page. We provide you with more than just your doctor of choice. You will receive the added benefit of collective opinion and experience. You can also expect a consistent and seamless interaction with any of our team members if you cannot get in to see your regular doctor.
The principal of the practice, Dr Jeanine Richardson, cares about her team to ensure they develop the skills and specialties they are interested in. This in turn serves the community better by making the practice a dynamic and forward thinking centre of excellence.
