What age should you start to bring children to the dentist?
Children should have their first dental visit around the age of 3.
Can I get a quote for dental treatment?
We offer treatment plans for patients indicating the cost of treatment, and also including health insurance item numbers, so that patients can check with their health fund on the rebates they are entitled to.
Can I visit the dentist if I am pregnant?
Yes, you can visit the dentist if you are pregnant. We recommend that you continue your regular examination and cleaning appointments while pregnant to avoid any issues that may arise. Hormone changes during pregnancy can lead to bleeding gums, therefore it is even more important at this time to have your teeth professionally cleaned. Dental treatment, including the use of local anaesthetic is also safe during pregnancy.
