AJA Bookkeeping Services is a team of expert bookkeepers who help Australian businesses establish, maintain and keep on top of their financial and employer obligations. Established in 2006 to service clients in Cairns, we have expanded to include interstate and international businesses. We cultivate a culture of caring for our clients while delivering attentive services to help their businesses thrive. AJA Bookkeeping Services is legislatively compliant and fully insured, with a reputation for honest, reliable services in the Cairns community. Our director & founder Amy Bender was recently recognised for her service to the business community, when she was selected as a finalist in the CBWC 2018 Business Women of the Year Awards.
Our team of qualified professionals ensures your accounts are in expert hands. Our client testimonials & accountant referrals are a testament to this. We can deliver our services at your office, at the time suitable to you or we can prepare your accounts from our office using our up-to-date accounting systems. We offer our services all year round, due to our office based business model, we do not go on holidays and you will eliminate the need to train staff, as we do not resign.
From a confidential payroll service to a full suite of services, which can include financial controlling and office administration. The level of service we offer differs according to needs of each of our clients. Our "virtual office" service is becoming increasingly popular amongst our clients. Our business health check service allows small business owners to process the books themselves, whilst benefiting from a review from us ensures the accounts and GST are in order.
We can help businesses from any industry whether they be small or large business, our knowledge is vast. Thanks to web-based accounting programs and our information technology systems; we can service clients from anywhere in Australia. Currently, we service clients in and around Cairns as well as remote locations in Far North Queensland, Adelaide & Papua New Guinea. We do not have a preference for accounting software, we prefer to use software which is tailored to our clients' needs.

What software does AJA Bookkeeping Services use?
We use MYOB, Reckon (QuickBooks), Xerox, Attaché and others. AJA Bookkeeping Services does not have affiliations with any specific software company. AJA Bookkeeping Services prefers to recommend software after a valuation of the client’s needs, rather than based on personal preference. If you do not have an accounting system or preference, AJA Bookkeeping Services is able to offer to its clients, MYOB data files for exclusive use at a fraction of what you would pay.

We have been using AJA Bookkeeping Services for almost twelve months, and what a great investment it has been! Our journey to seek a bookkeeper stem from not having enough hours in a day! Entering bills, preparing the BAS and IAS took a lot of time out of my day. It was time to outsource these tasks to the professionals.
