Why is my door closing heavily?
- Check bottom limit switch setting. - Adjust if necessary. - Call service technician.
How do I operate my door manually in the event of a power failure?
- To disengage - Pull manual release lever (red handle) downwards - To engage - Push manual release lever up
How do I code the handset?
- With the power turned onto the unit press and release the small button (learning button) and the yellow LED will come on indicating that your unit is ready to accept code. - Press the handset button once. If the code is accepted the green LED will blink twice. - For multiple handsets code them in at this stage. - Press and release the small button (learning button) and the yellow LED will go off.
Why should I service my door?
All doors have moving parts and need to be serviced, for optimal performance. We recommended that your door be serviced at least every 12 months.
What can I do if my sectional door is noisy?
Clean out all tracks with warm soapy water and check springs are not rusty. If springs appear rusty lubricate the springs. Refer to homeowner's garage door manual which will advise you what you can do and what you shouldn't do.
What do I use to lubricate my door?
Dry silicone spray on rollers, hinges and tracks.
When does my door need servicing?
Every 12 months or sooner to prolong the life of the door. Failure to service may result in warranty being voided.
How do I maintain my door?
Grease springs, clean guides with warm soapy water, wash door.
What can I do when the sectional door does not close all the way?
Lubricate spring with white lithium grease available from most hardware stores.
