      We are a specialist prosthodontics practice, with two surgeries in New South Wales one in Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour.

      Davis Dental provides specialised dental and Prosthodontic services in Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour in a comfortable, relaxing environment.

      Davis Dental has two specialist Prosthodontists, Dr Davis and Dr Ribeiro. There are two locations, Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie, we specialise in dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, crown, bridge, veneers, TMD/TMJ, bonding, teeth whitening, Invisalign, replacing teeth and restoring teeth. We see private patients who can either be referred by their dentist or doctor, but a referral is not required to see us. We are open Monday - Friday 08:30am - 4:30pm

      Prosthodontists play a key role in smile rehabilitation. Since people are living longer and retaining more of their natural teeth, prosthodontic treatment may be instrumental in helping patients maintain a healthy attractive appearance. Our Practice Has An Emphasis On:Invisalign. Dental implants. Smile rehabilitation. Crown and bridge. Cosmetic dentistry. Tooth whitening. Occlusal (bite) problems. Treatment of worn dentition. Complex full and partial dentures. Orthotics for sleep apnoea. TMD/TMJ. Bonding.

      A prosthodontist is a specialist who is skilled in the replacement of missing teeth (and associated tissues) and the restoration of natural teeth. To become a board-registered specialist prosthodontist in Australia, after graduating as a qualified dentist, they must then undertake further full time training in a university master's degree programme. The programme takes a minimum of three years and involves further study in all facets of dentistry.

      How is the treatment plan developed?

      The ideal treatment plan for you is established after obtaining as much information as possible about you and what you want. This includes radiographs (x-rays), photographs, diagnostics casts (made from dental impressions), a comprehensive exam and referral to other specialists where required. What you want and your budget are a big factor in the plan that we eventually decide on.


      Is it easy to schedule an appointment?

      We generally schedule you a series of appointments which allows for smooth treatment scheduling. We strongly encourage you to attend your appointments as missing one may delay completing your treatment.


      Can I ask a question?

      Yes, in fact we encourage questions and want to listen to your concerns and explain to you what treatment is required and why. Often you will be provided with two or more treatment options to consider and we want you ask any questions that will help you understand what you want and how we will do it.


      Does the office follow strict infection control protocols?

      Yes, the office follows the OH&S protocols of the ADA NSW, and the staff has attended courses and are accredited in infection control procedures.


      Do you need to have radiographs (x-rays)?

      Yes. Depending on why we are seeing you will determine the type and number of radiographs (x-rays) you will need. Modern x-ray machines have very low dose compared to years gone by and the diagnostic information gained is invaluable when developing the treatment plan.


      Do I need a referral? Will I be referred to another specialist?

      You do not need a referral however most of our patients are referred to us by a dentist or a dental or medical specialist. Depending on the treatment you need we may need to refer you to other dental or medical specialists.

      Having recently moved to Port from Canberra, I sought out a quality dental practice to help with my teeth and general mouth health.

      Doctor Scott Davis has been very helpful. Best dentist I have come across in my many years on this earth. Very skilled team, and professional approach.

      Nothing is too much trouble, follow ups are no problem, even unscheduled and on work that was not done by him. Cannot praise him highly enough.

      And the team are very professional and caring.

      Great view out the dental surgery window. Helps calm the nerves. I am always nervous.

      I recommend Davis Dental with no hesitation, to anyone who needs their service.

      Wow. The work that Dr Davis and his highly professional staff have accomplished with my challenging issues is nothing short of a miracle. I have had implants as well as all sorts of other dental work done. They have changed my life. I no longer put my hand up to hide my teeth, they look great !!!!!! Everything was discussed and i was kept informed at every step. I do not like dentists but they were gentle and re assuring. My friends have seen the change in me and were impressed with the results. Some have even been to Dr Davis as a result of this. We are really lucky to have such a highly skilled professional team in our local area. I would recomend them to anyone.

      I am a dentist in Port Macquarie and need my dental checkups just like everyone else. I go to Dr Scott Davis as my local dentist. He is a very highly qualified dentist and he has well trained and friendly staff. His equipment is state of the art and he often travels to train other dentist in Australia and overseas. My wife and I chose Dr Davis to do her dental implants and her Crown and Bridgework that she required and we are both very impressed with the excellent results that he achieved. She loves her new smile.
