My gums bleed when I floss my teeth. Should I stop flossing?
No, bleeding while flossing is a sign of gingivitis (gum disease). Healthy gums do not bleed, but with regular flossing the bleeding should decrease and eventually stop. If your gums continue to bleed, please make an appointment to see us.
How often should I see the dentist?
