      Australian-owned and operated, Discount Drug Stores is a leading discount pharmacy brand which commenced operations in late 2001, with the first store opening at Sunnybank in Queensland. Since then, we have continued to improve our offer to both franchisees and customers, which has enabled us to expand the brand nationally. We’re proud to now have over 145 store locations Australia-wide. Pharmacists John Clark, Peter Newman and Rosa Chen started the Discount Drug Stores brand with the intention of providing ‘Everyday Low Prices’ on all prescription, health and beauty needs as well as professional healthcare advice and services that you would expect to find in a traditional community pharmacy. On 8th September 2014, Discount Drug Stores entered into a sale agreement with Central Healthcare (CH), a wholly owned subsidiary of Sigma Pharmaceuticals Ltd (Sigma). At almost 130 stores strong at the time, DDS had become one of the fastest growing brands in Australia.

      Can I add items to an order once it has been submitted?

      No. If you wish to add items to your order you will need to place a new order. If you have chosen postage and would like all these items to be posted together, then you will need to call the pharmacy you are purchasing from, quote your order number/s and advise the staff of your request.


      Can I remove items from my order once it has been submitted?

      Once you submit your order your credit card is charged. If you would like to remove an item from your order, you will need to contact your pharmacy and organise a partial refund. For more information, please see our refund policy.


      What health tests do you offer at the pharmacy?

      We offer blood pressure checks, glucose testing, cholesterol testing, hearing tests, and bowel screening. Please ask our pharmacy team for further details.


      Can you help with managing my medications?

      Yes, we offer medication reviews, dosage packing, and SMS reminders to help you manage and stay on track with your medications.


      Do you offer home delivery for prescriptions?

      Yes, we provide local home delivery for prescriptions to ensure convenience for our customers who can't visit the pharmacy.


      What form of ID will I need to collect my order in store?

      You can bring either your email order confirmation that is sent upon completion of your order, or alternatively, you can present valid photo identification.
