In 1974, Jim & Liz Vansleve established Norfolk Pools in Brisbane, with the concept of offering clients the opportunity to deal with one person who would be the sales consultant, designer and builder all in one. It would enable us to offer a much personalised service, a "one on one" with our clients and a complete understanding of their requirements with plenty of communication, thus avoiding the pit falls of the larger swimming pool companies.
Some 40 plus years after and several thousand Brisbane swimming pools later, we still offer the same personalised service and quality, preferring to build only what we can personally manage. When it comes to Brisbane concrete pools, we offer you the Norfolk Pools difference. From the quotation process to contract, to on site meetings, pool set out, excavation, construction, concreting, tiling, interiors, filtration, handover, office admin & maintenance you will be dealing with the builder.
We will provide you with a program, keep you informed of what's happening and when, commence and finish your swimming pool when requested, assist you with selections, assist you in arranging other associated trades like electricians, fencing and landscaping & most of all we'll be up front.

We have a great internal designer who can work with you on designing your dream pool, however if you are looking for someone to design your pool and you want to be able to take that design to any pool construction company we recommend Elegance Design's - www.elegancedesign.com.au. We have worked closely together in the past and are confident to recommend them as a experienced high quality poll designer specialist.

Norfolk Pools came highly recommended and they did not let us down. Jim Vansleve understood our concept, which was quite complex involving pool, skate bowl and basketball court and we are delighted with the result. We have since recommended Norfolk Pools to several other friends and they are equally delighted with their quality pools. The follow up care and maintenance go beyond the call of duty. Any concerns we have had are promptly dealt with by Jim and his trusty right hand man, Murray. If you are looking for an award winning pool then Norfolk Pools will more than meet your expectations

I will give this company a negative ten if I could. Basically, Jim Vansleve the owner of this company is the most arrogant that I have ever seen. I have worked with a few different contractors and tradies during the building of my house but Jim Vansleve from Norfolk Pools is the worst. So basically, they do a half shoddy job with my fence. Told me that it's the paver's fault when they just plopped my fence on top of an existing wooden retaining wall. When asked to do a proper job, insisted that he did no wrong when it's clear that he took a short cut and just plainly refused to put a post in with the right tools as other fencing company has said they could! Worst thing is, he hangs up on you with such attitude when you tell him to fix it. This is the worst company of its kind and do not ever engage him to do your pool or anything around it. He will do a short cut job and leave you on your own when problem arises. Stay away from Norfolk pool and listen to me who has learnt the hard way.
