Hello, my name is Pete and after operating my plumbing business in Brisbane for over 12 years, my family finally moved to the Sunshine Coast and settled in Mount Coolum, which is where Mount Coolum Plumbing began! My family has a long history in Coolum dating back to the 1930s, where my Grandfather was a local farmer and my Grandmother was the principal and sole teacher of the Coolum State School.
I specialize in residential maintenance plumbing and have over 15+ years of experience, completing over 10,000 separate jobs! If you have any plumbing issues in your home - from problems with your hot water system, to blocked drains or even just leaking taps, I can find and fix the problem in the most economical way possible. Do I need a new hot water system?
If the only problem with your hot water system is that it isn't heating, then you most likely do not need a new hot water unit. There are a number of reasons you may not have hot water and luckily, most of these issues are easily repairable! There is of course a time when it will need to be replaced, but I never recommend replacing a hot water system before its needed, no matter how old it is.
Do you have a call out fee?
No! For customers in the suburbs between Twin Waters and Marcus Beach, including Peregian Springs, there's no extra call out/travel fee for me to just turn up at your house. If I carry out any work, there is a 1 hour minimum charge, which includes a full 1 hour on-site if needed! If I am only inspecting an issue to discuss your options, or to do a quote, then there is no charge whatsoever!
Do you work on Solar hot water systems?
Yes! While I don't install or replace solar hot water systems or the collectors on the roof, I do service and repair these systems. This includes diagnosis of issues with the pump, controller and sensor systems of split system solar as well as the tank replacements when the tank is on the ground.
