Here at Warwick Town & Country Vets we offer an emergence after hour’s service, one of our veterinarian staff well be able to be contacted for emergencies at any time during the Night or day. If the after hour’s phone is not answered there is a high possibility that the Vet on call is attending to another patient, please leave a message and they will be able to get back to you as soon as possible
Do you offer Puppy Preschool training services
Here at the clinic we are lucky enough to have our senior vet Coralyn Turner running our puppy preschool classes. Let us help you guide your puppy’s development and build a strong relationship with them as they grow into a lifetime member of your family. Warwick Town & Country Vets Puppy Preschool class is for puppies aged between 3-5months of age and cover the following topics; How to communicate and understand your puppy, basic Obedience, positive &safe socialisation with people and other tips
Do you have in house laboratory and radiography facilities
Here at the clinic we have an in-house pathology laboratory giving us the ability to do a lot of your animal tests here at the clinic saving time and money, however we are unable to do everything here at the clinic and some samples need to be sent off to the laboratories. We also have a state of the art digital x-ray machine here at the clinic giving us the ability to take x-ray here at the clinic but also out in the field.
What food do we need to feed our animals
Here at the clinic we recommend a wide range of science and prescription diets for your animal. Anything form everyday food for your kitten, puppy and adult animal right through to seniors
How much will that cost
Please call the clinic to get a simple quote estimated by our nurse and reception staff. More complicated health issues are best diagnosed by a veterinarian during a consultation. Where one of our vets can give a formal estimate depending on the prognosis of your animal’s health. Our vets are able to give many different treatment options depending on your pet’s prognosis ranging in cost, we are able to work to budgets if need be.
Do you offer payment plans
Unfortunately, we do not offer any payment plans. If you contact us ahead of time, we can help you determine ways to keep costs down and stay within your budget. Our veterinarians can work with you to come up with a cost-effective plan to keep your pet current on vaccinations and other necessary services. What days do you do surgery
We do routine surgeries such as desexing, lump removals and dentals every day of the week here at the clinic. To book your pet in we recommend calling at least a week in advance that way we are more likely to have a time that suits both you and us. We also send out reminder messages the day before your pets surgery.
Do you offer home visits for small animals
Yes, Warwick Town and Country Vets services Warwick and the surrounds (up to a 60km radius). We can make the trip to your house to see your cat, dog, horse, cow or farm animals. If you live within the Warwick CBD there is no additional cost for travel, for those who live a little further out to town standard travel cost will apply, please contact the clinic for pricing estimates.
Do I need to make an appointment
Yes, it is always good to give the clinic a call and book in an appointment for your animal. Making an appointment will guarantee that one of our vets is at the clinic prepared for your arrival
Do you offer Grooming
Yes, we do offer grooming and hydrobathing services. Our groomer/s are able to provide style cuts, trims and tidy ups. This includes nail trimming, medicated washes if needed and a blow dry. All our grooming patients get to have their own space and do not have to share, we are also able to collect your pet if you live in the Warwick CBD area
