Austec Industrial Engineering is a privately owned locally based company, with over 25 years’ experience in metal manufacturing & machining. Founded in 1994 by Mike Bateup and Mick Rummery, providing a wide range of engineering services to our extensive customer base. Our highly skilled trades people have many years of combined experience in the fabrication & machining industry.

Apart from carrying out fabrication of general metalwork we are often involved in complex projects that require accuracy and attention to detail with an exceptional finish.
Austec Industrial Engineering has a modern machine shop, featuring precision CNC machining centres, offering an array of services including milling, line-boring, turning, drilling, tapping and profiling. We work with your schedule to deliver high quality metal parts that meet your engineering specifications. Our machining capabilities range from basic pins and bushes to highly intricate scientific components. Using the latest technology in machinery and software, we’re able to manufacture high quality products within a short lead time.
We understand that should our customers have broken or poorly operating equipment, it is a problem that can bring their business to a virtual standstill. Therefore, a major part of our resources is focused at getting them operational as quickly as possible.
