Redland Bay Roof Trusses was established in July, 1988 by Alec & his wife Glenda. Alec, with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, began his career in the prefabricated timber manufacturing industry at Wilkinson Timber Industries back in 1979 for 9yrs, before deciding to venture out on his own. Cricket lovers may recognise Alec as a former player for Queensland in the Sheffield Shield competition. Since 1988, Alec, has grown his company from 5 staff at a small factory in Merritt Street Capalaba to 45 staff operating out of a new premises at Jardine Drive Redland Bay. Alec’s motto is Quality, Service & Reliability through determination, a “hands on” approach and sheer hard work, he has made Redland Bay Roof Trusses the successful company it is today.
