What is a Building Permit?
A building permit is a legal document issued by a registered building surveyor to confirm that drawings & documents submitted for any proposed building works on a specific site meet the requirements of the Building code of Australia, The Building Act of 1993 and Building regulations 2018. Once issued you/your contractor can proceed with the construction works in accordance with the stamped and approved drawings.
What is a planning permit?
A planning permit is a legal document that gives permission to use or develop land. Most planning permits contain conditions and endorsed plans that show what is to be built and how land is to be used. The permit holder is always required to comply with all the planning permit conditions and associated endorsed plans
What information do I need to provide before our initial meeting?
Apart from an explanation of what you wish to develop on your property we ask that you email us either a section 32 (sale contract) or certificate of title & plan of subdivision of your property. Without this minimum information we cannot provide you with any meaningful advice.

Our company directors are registered architects and all other technical staff have completed recognised architectural drafting or building designer courses.
What happens at the initial consultation?
The initial consultation is a time for us to meet, discuss and explore your project requirements. Evaluate your property's opportunities and constraints and begin to demonstrate how we can help turn your concepts and dreams into reality. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you wish and view past and current examples of our work.
How much do you charge for initial consultation?
We do not charge a fee for our initial consultation and is it is obligation free.
Do you provide written fee proposal and is there a charge?
Yes, our aim is to provide you with a cost and obligation free fee proposal within a few days of our initial consultation.
