      Is there a breakdown service for the vehicles?

      All ORIX Rental vehicles and trailers are covered by 24-hour roadside assistance.


      Are there any licensing restrictions?

      Drivers must have the correct license in the appropriate class for the vehicle they are driving. In addition, a driver on a Learners Permit or Provisional License is not permitted to drive any ORIX Rental vehicles at any time.


      What is the minimum rental period?

      ORIX Rental offers truck, trailer, 4WD and passenger rental from one day to seven years. Rental contracts can easily be extended, which is subject to the availability of equipment and future bookings on the vehicles. Talk to the ORIX team about the options that are available.


      Does ORIX have e-TAGs for the vehicles?

      ORIX does not supply e-TAGs for vehicles, but drivers can go online and link the vehicle registration with their existing e-TAG account.


      Does a log book or driver's diary need to be completed?

      ORIX recommends that all drivers intending to operate a Rental vehicle contact the state authority responsible for licensing to check the most up-to-date rules.


      Does ORIX offer one-way rentals?

      One-way rentals are subject to the availability of the equipment, and future booking on the vehicle. An ORIX Rental vehicle rental may be picked up from any of our branches and returned to another, however a relocation fee to have the vehicle returned to the branch of origin will be included in the cost.


      What are the rental payment options?

      There are several payment options available for rentals: 1. Short and long term rentals can be billed on a 14 day account basis, subject to credit approval. 2. Short term rentals that are on a cash account basis require a security deposit.


      Can ORIX deliver and/or collect rental vehicles?

      Yes, however there may be a charge for this service. It is also subject to distance and staff availability.
