The Sandringham hotel is large and in a great location but is disappointing. They have pokies and I think that they probably get enough revenue from that so they dont really care about the food or entertainment side of things. You never hear anything about anything happening at this pub. That is a shame because it has a great view over the bay and I can remember the times when it hosted live music and I saw Peter Garrett fronting Midnight Oil there and he sang upside down hanging off the sprinkler system. Go to True South at Black Rock instead for good beer and some social life.
