      Because if you hire a bin you pay for the whole bin even if you only half fill it. If you hire a trailer you go get it, load it, tow it, empty it and return trailer. We save you time and labour.


      What happens to the rubbish?

      It is sorted into recyclable and non-recyclable and taken to transfer stations, recyclable depots and tips. Sometimes we may take something to a needy family.

      Can I put tyres and mattresses in the skip bin?

      Tyres and mattresses are items that incur an additional fees at the local waste facility, so unfortunately we have to pass on these costs. The fee depends on the size, so please Contact us to get the latest prices.


      What size skip bin should I get?

      We have 3, 6, 10 & 12 cubic metre bins. The right skip bin depends on the size of your project. A simple house clean won’t need as big of a skip as an industrial construction worksite.       What type of Waste can be disposed in an Active Skip Bins skip?

      We have bins suitable for green waste, domestic, household, agricultural plastic, commercial, concrete, steel, industrial and asbestos waste. Actually just about anything you can think of. Some items (tyres & mattresses) incur additional fees at the dump, so please check with us first.


      Do you remove asbestos?

      We offer both arrangement of paperwork and safe transportation of asbestos. We are experienced, licenced and insured for Asbestos transport, however we do not perform asbestos removal from buildings. Asbestos waste over 250kg MUST be transported by a licenced operator – this is a legal requirment.


      Is it true that you transport items other than rubbish?

      Yes it sure is! We are always looking for ways to keep our trucks and drivers busy! We transport macadamia nuts during harvest season, sweet potatoes (for stock feed) and even some machinery on our flat bed tray. The possibilities are endless!
