It specialises in differentials, manual gearboxes and clutches from cars to small trucks. The business has grown over the years and is now run by sons Raffaele and Anthony. Smithfield Diff & Gearbox now houses it's own machine shop, offering flywheel machining, anything from standard flywheels to race car clutches. Our specialty covers all from standard cars through to performance vehicles. SPECIALITY Smithfield Diff & Gearbox are now also suppliers of Tremec high performance 5 & 6 speed transmissions in NSW and Yukon differential parts Australia wide. We have in stock ready for pick up or fit a wide range of fully reconditioned manual gearboxes and diffs. ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING job done on our VW Golf GTSp TDI, fixed the gearbox and a host of other problems using all genuine VW parts at a very reasonable price. Another mechanic recommended this business as the best transmission place in Sydney - he was right. We found honest, old-fashioned service which is hard to find these days. EXCELLENT.
