      How do I know if the design strength of my building is sufficient?

      All ShedSafe accredited sellers must provide certain information on their quotes which determines the correct site specifications of the shed. There are six elements to consider: 1. Wind Region 2. Importance Level 3. Terrain Category 4. Topography factor 5. Shielding factor 6. Site Wind Speed specific to your site Make sure all of these factors are clearly shown on your quote.


      What size sheds can Shedex Gladstone supply?

      From the small back yard shed to massive commercial factories and warehouses, Shedex Gladstone custom design any project to your exact size and specifications. Unlike many kit products which come in a limited number of sizes, Shedex Gladstone use the latest technology and innovations which allows us to produce thousands of different ranges and combinations. For the large commercial sheds, we are able to supply hot form and universal beam designs which give a much larger span width.

      No. Sheds can be designed and manufactured many different ways which is why steel buildings must be certified by a structural engineer. Joints are the most important engineering consideration in your shed. Shedex Gladstone patented Morinda Glove Section Bracket System has been voted the best in the industry because of its full wrap around design and dual use of heavy bolts. Don't settle for a weak single plate system when you can have the superior full wrap around Morinda Knee and Apex joints.

      ShedSafe is a new industry benchmark for Australian manufactured steel sheds. It is an independent accreditation program designed to assist shed buyers in making an informed purchase decision. ShedSafe is a two tiered accreditation program, accrediting both the manufacturers responsible for the engineering and design and the shed sellers responsible for making sure the design is the best fit for their customers. Shedex Gladstone is both an accredited manufacturer and shed seller.

      How long will it take to get my shed?

      The average time to project manage a domestic shed from start to finish is approximately 8 weeks, made up as follows: 1. Engineering and council approvals - 2 weeks 2. Earthworks and slab - 1 week 3. Shed Kit ordering and delivery - 3 weeks 4. Shed construction and final sign off - 2 weeks If you plan to build the shed yourself, then we can have the shed kit to your door within 4 weeks.

Our genuine COLORBOND, ZINCALUME and GALVASPAN products have been tested in extreme climates throughout Australia against defects such as blistering, cracking, flaking and peeling - defects you do not want to see in your shed.
