Disgusting group when it comes to renting. I don't understand how they couldn't find a tenant after 3 months in a housing crisis, yet when we went with a new agent only took them 2 days. Lost so much money. Steer clear. Poor communication and rude!!!

Mixed feelings Oliver Hume. My friend used to work here. I found that management in certain divisions play 'favourites'. The main receptionist and EA are quite nasty when they speak to you alone, but play nicer when they speak to you around other employees. Some upper management do not hesitate to swear, making it uncomfortable for younger junior employees in there. There is little emphasis on training and development for new and current hires. High employee turnover.

BEWARE We finally agreed on a figure and settlement date, sold our property for quicker settlement and after signing the contract we were told that the vendor wanted a higher figure. They have not only devastated a dream but have also left us homeless until we can secure a rental property and begin our search again. Shame on the Oliver Hume Group.

Proceed with caution dealing with this company. Read there fine print before signing anything. They asked for a 5% deposit to secure a block of land which we put down and before we even had a chance of getting our finance they started demanding another 5%.
