      When do kittens need to be vaccinated?

      First vaccination is Feline infectious enteritis, Feline Calicivirus, Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis at 8 weeks, 2nd vaccination is Feline infectious enteritis, Feline Calicivirus, Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis at 12 weeks and 3rd vaccination is Feline infectious enteritis, Feline Calicivirus, Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis at 16 weeks. Then annual boosters. Please contact us about other vaccinations we may recommend for your cat(s).


      When do puppies need to be vaccinated?

      First vaccination is a C3 (canine distemper, parvovirus, hepatitis) at 6-8 weeks, 2nd vaccination is C5 (canine distemper, canine parvovirus, canine hepatitis, bordetella bronchiseptica and canine parainfluenza) at 12 weeks and 3rd vaccination is C5 (canine distemper, canine parvovirus, canine hepatitis, bordetella bronchiseptica and canine parainfluenza) at 16 weeks. It is very important for your puppy to have all booster injections. Then annual boosters.


      Do you have animal nutrition specialist?

      No, but we have qualified vet nurses who have a special interest in nutrition and have done courses in pet nutrition.


      At what age do you de-sex dogs and cats?

      Usually best around 6 months.


      What other animals can you treat?

      We can also treat reptiles. This is another service we can provide for you.


      Can I bring in my birds to be looked at?

      Yes, we have an avian service for all birds and welcome you to bring them in for treatment.
