Wonson Frames & Trusses is a family-operated timber frame and truss manufacturer based in Tarrawanna, supplying builders and residential construction projects across the Illawarra, South Coast, Southern Highlands and Sydney since 1995. We manufacture prefabricated timber wall frames, engineered roof trusses and timber flooring systems, with in-house estimating and detailing to support accurate quotes and efficient builds. What information do I need to provide to obtain a quote?
For a quote to be provided you will require a set of plans from your architect or draftsman including the floor plan, elevations, cross-sectional diagrams and any other relevant information or specifications that will be required to generate & complete a quote for you or your client. (Please note DA approved plans are highly recommended as variations to plans can result if your council requires changes to be made to your design).
Do you supply and install the frames and trusses?
No, we are a supply only business; however, depending on the area we can look into referring you to quality tradesmen to erect the products.
What areas can you supply frames and trusses to?
Our fleet of trucks and highly trained drivers from our logistics department allows for products to be delivered to the Illawarra, South Coast, Sydney & Southern Highlands regions. Our partnership with our timber suppliers also allows for certain products to be directly delivered from the manufacturer to your site. Be sure to contact us if you are not certain if we deliver to your area. Special arrangements can be made for certain products.

I want my floor to be colour of this board?
This is an unrealistic expectation. Board colour varies greatly not only from a tree but also within a tree. The colour in a board can also appear different depending on the angle it is viewed. Board colour also changes when the coating is applied and floors often darken with age. The floor you have will be unique to you in its colour and character and therefore, when choosing a timber floor, you need to consider that samples provide only a general guide and the colour cannot be specified.

Is there any other product that you sell apart from frames & trusses?
Yes, we also sell a range of products including flooring systems which include 19mm flooring sheets some of which are used in the wet areas while other sheets are designed specifically for the outdoor areas including your balconies of your house. Bearer & Joists are also another important component of our business and other building products such as temp props and other ancillary products including glue guns and other miscellaneous items to greater assist you in your building process.
