We are specialised in training to give you the knowledge & understanding for you to follow safe driving practices on our roads.
Our qualified instructors offer friendly, informative & relaxed lessons in our cars, or yours. We are here to assist you to safely meet & exceed your driving goals. We can instruct & then assess you for your L2 licence. We are flexible with hours of working.
We understand that most of our students are nervous and that this can inhibit their ability to make the most of their lessons. At Driving Ambitions, we have experience in recognising and understanding our student’s differences. We adjust our teaching strategies to match everyone’s learning abilities, confidence, skills & needs. Lessons are for a full hour & parents/supervisory drivers are welcome to join us.
For your convenience, we are happy to pick up & drop off in the general Launceston area. We can also venture further afield if required. We have male & female instructors, who ensure you are treated with respect while keeping a friendly sense of humour. Our cars are late model automatic & manual vehicles fitted with dual controls to ensure safety. These vehicles can cater for those with most height considerations. We are also happy to do lessons in your car, preferably if you hold your L2 licence.

FAQs
When should I book a lesson?
As soon as you have your licence. The sooner you start doing the more difficult manoeuvres the sooner they become easy.
How many lessons will I need?
Everyone is different, with different requirements. It is not possible to answer this without doing at least one, maybe 2 lessons.
When can I have a lesson?
If you call or text us on 0438 687 825 our wonderful assistant will answer all your questions, make all the arrangements & book you in as soon as possible. She will call you back if you text her.
Do you do international licence conversions?
International students are very welcome.
Can my supervisory driver/parent come on the lesson?
Of course, if they can, it will save your time and money on lessons.
My son/daughter is very nervous about driving and their L2 test, can you help?
We can take our students to quiet areas with little or no traffic to let them get used to us, the car and learning to drive before they venture into traffic. We don’t push anyone into doing their L2 test before they’re ready.
Do you offer packages?
We offer a discount on every 5th lesson. This way you are not locked into lessons you may not need. It also carries over from your first lesson with us to when you pass your P’s test.
Can I always have a particular instructor or change instructor?
Yes, these lessons are yours. So who or whatever you prefer is your choice. We have male & female instructors.
Do you do gift vouchers?
Yes, we can do for any amount or number of lessons you require.
How do I make a payment?
You can either pay cash at the lesson or via direct deposit. This is usually organised when you book.

I can’t recommend driving ambitions more than I do.
professional, yet still kind and and clearly make an effort to ease nerves.

I havent had a driving lesson with them, when i called the comapny a lady answerd she was lovly and honest and said when they will be free to book a lesson and when the tests are ready to book, i have heard great stuff about how good they are.
