      Ulverstone Boarding Kennels & Cattery is a family-owned and operated business.

      Ulverstone Boarding Kennels & Cattery is a family-owned and operated business. Ric and Jeri Van Schie have been running the business since 2004. They are life-long dog lovers and have two 2-legged children along with twelve 4-legged children. Both Ric and Jeri believe that if you find a job that you love, you never have to work a day in your life again. You can rest assured knowing that your pet children will be happy with them. They have also been showing and breeding Siberian Huskies for over 20 years as a part of Arctickara Kennels.

      At Ulverstone Boarding Kennels & Cattery, all of our team members are very experienced in handling dogs. You can rest assured that all of our four-legged guests are in great hands. We have accommodation for all breeds ranging from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. Each dog kennel has an outside area. In times of good weather, your dog will be able to bask in the sun or sleep in the shade. The accommodation is completely sheltered from bad weather conditions.

      Fun Holiday For Your Feline Pets We love our feline guests and want them to have a great holiday while you enjoy your break. The accommodation for the cats is a heated indoor area. Secure Outdoor Exercise Yard We have an outdoor, grassed exercise area for the dogs. On days with good weather, we give the dogs sometime in the exercise yard (approx. 2 hours each). We rotate the dogs in turns so each dog will have time outside at least once every 2 days. This comes as part of the standard boarding fee.

      At Ulverstone Boarding Kennels & Cattery, we take the health and well-being of your pet(s) very seriously. The last thing we want is for your pet to be sick whilst staying with us. To ensure that we do not facilitate the transmission of diseases between pets, we require all boarders to have up-to-date vaccinations. We insist on sighting the vaccination card/receipts for each and every boarder. A Loving Home For Your Pet We want our guests to be comfortable and happy. We make sure all guests are enjoying their stay and settling in perfectly!

      From one night to six weeks

      We have been using Ulverstone Boarding Kennels and Cattery for nearly eight years. First for our cat when we returned from the mainland and for our dog over the last four years. Could never complain about the service and facilities. Puddin' loved it ans does Hank. We can go away with no qualms as they look after our babies like their own. Can't thank Jeri and Rick enough for the care they take.
