At Cuddly Bear Templestowe Early Learning Centre, we understand that families want to know their child is not only safe and cared for, but nurtured, understood and encouraged to thrive. Proudly serving the Templestowe community for more than three decades, Cuddly Bear has built strong and lasting relationships with local families. Our centre is supported by a team of long-term, experienced and dedicated educators who genuinely know the children and families in our community. For us, early learning is about more than simply providing care. It is about creating a place where children feel a strong sense of belonging, develop confidence, build friendships and discover a lifelong love of learning. Quality Early Learning From Babies to Kindergarten Cuddly Bear Templestowe provides a warm and welcoming environment for children from babies and toddlers through to kindergarten, supporting families throughout the important early years. Our Babies Program provides a nurturing environment where our youngest children can develop secure relationships, confidence and independence while being supported according to their individual routines, interests and developmental needs. As children grow, our Toddler Program encourages curiosity, exploration, communication and social development. Children are supported to become increasingly independent while learning through play, meaningful experiences and positive relationships with their educators and friends. Our Kindergarten Program provides children with an exciting and engaging learning experience designed to help prepare them for the transition to school and beyond.

Free Kindergarten Program We are proud to offer a Free Kindergarten Program, providing eligible families with access to a high-quality kindergarten experience within the familiar and supportive environment of Cuddly Bear. Our kindergarten program supports the development of the whole child. Children are encouraged to develop early literacy and numeracy skills, communication, independence, resilience, problem-solving abilities, confidence and positive relationships. We want every child to leave kindergarten feeling confident, capable, independent and excited about starting school. Weekly Swimming Excursions One of the exciting experiences that makes our kindergarten program special is our weekly swimming excursions. Our kindergarten children have the opportunity to participate in regular swimming sessions, helping develop water confidence, coordination, physical skills and independence. Swimming provides children with valuable opportunities to learn important water-safety skills while having fun, being active and building confidence in a supportive environment. It is an experience that our children look forward to each week and is a wonderful extension of their learning beyond the kindergarten environment.
