Callen Taxation & Business Solutions has been servicing clients with taxation and business advice since 2000. With over 20 years of experience specialising in small business, we pride ourselves on our personal and professional service. We are a small team dedicated to ensuring our clients receive the best service possible.
Callen Taxation and Business Solutions is a Boutique Accounting firm specialising in servicing small business. We provide advice to small business across a broad range of industry including manufacturing, retail, building and construction, mining, communications and personal and professional service businesses. We can assist with all your taxation needs from lodgement of an Income Tax Return to advice on appropriate tax structures, restructuring and detailed tax planning.
Sally Callen is our principal accountant. Sally gained a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Newcastle. Sally then completed the qualifications to become a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. To expand her knowledge Sally has also obtained a Masters Degree in Taxation and recently added to her knowledge and qualifications with a Diploma of Financial Planning. Sally is a Registered Tax Agent and Chartered Tax Advisor as recognised by the Tax Institute of Australia.
Our services include lodgement of Income Tax Returns for individuals, Partnerships, Companies, Trusts and Self Managed Superannuation Funds. We can provide implementation and ongoing bookkeeping assistance and BAS preparation and lodgement. Through our Wealth Creation business, we can provide advice on the establishment of Self Managed Superannuation Funds and retirement planning. We are happy to provide fixed price quotes for the services you require.

Will I have the same person assisting me each year?
We have a small number of staff which allows our clients to form a relationship with our clients. We believe this enhances both our understanding of your requirements and your satisfaction of the service you are provided. We have many clients whom we have assisted for over a decade.
Can I supply my information by email or do I need to come in for an appointment?
We are happy to receive your information by email however when meeting a new client would prefer to initially have a face to face meeting to discuss your circumstances.
What differentiates your firm from other accountants?
Quite often our clients tell us that visiting their previous accountant used to be intimidating which often led to them not asking for appropriate advice or putting off scheduling appointments. On the contrary our approach has always been personal and friendly and we pride ourselves on the feedback from our clients that they can call or email us or pop in at any time with a question and never feel intimidated.

What will it cost?
While we have fixed prices for some of our services we generally charge on an hourly rate basis. Therefore, the more organised you are the less it will cost you. We are happy to provide a fixed price quote after an initial consultation to assess your circumstances and your needs.
