I enquired sometime ago about re- asphalting my driveway. I eventually got a call from the representative and arranged for an inspection and quote. Rep told me would quote in 24 hours.
Never got the quote and after 3 weeks later I rang Hardings. Was told they would do up quote. A week later I rang again and then another week I again rang. Lady told me they are extremely busy and would get back to me in due course and was told if I want to cancel that is up to me….However that afternoon a quote was emailed to me that I responded that I would accept and asking approximate date of commencement of the work. No reply from Hardings and after 2 follow up emails, still no reply.
I have heard that Hardings do a good job but I have to say and allege their customer service is pathetic. The reason I would allege is Hardings basically have the monopoly in the area.

Contacted Harding’s about 2-3 months ago about hotmixing my driveway. They arranged a day and time that I would be home and said they’d come have a look and give me a quote. They didn’t show up. I rang back a few days later and asked why they didn’t show; they had forgotten. This time they didn’t ask if I would be home at a certain time or day just gave me one, luckily I was home but once again they didn’t show. So I gave up. About a month later they rang back asking if I still want someone to come have a look (no apology at all) I said someone was meant to come months ago and they said ‘I know’ so we arranged another day and time and this time they actually came. That was over 6 weeks ago and still haven’t received a quote. obviously not interested in the smaller jobs (even though it’s a reasonable sized driveway.) I’ll take my money elsewhere to someone who actually wants my business.
