From the youngest members of your family to those experiencing the complexities associated with ageing eyes, we offer services designed to meet every vision need.
Regular comprehensive eye exams at Wicks Eyecare are the cornerstone of maintaining good vision and eye health. Our exams are thorough, assessing everything from visual acuity to eye health, ensuring we catch any changes early so that we can be proactive about the quality of your sight.
We understand the importance of early eye health, so we tailor our paediatric eye care services to the specific needs of young eyes. Regular eye exams for children are vital to ensure normal vision development and identify any issues affecting their learning and development. We also offer behavioural therapy to help children overcome problems processing their sight.
With advanced diagnostic tools, we manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy, aiming for early detection and ongoing management to preserve vision and enhance quality of life.

Wicks Eyecare offers comprehensive eye tests designed to screen for diseases and identify any eye abnormalities, along with a large selection of contact lenses and frames.
They offer a special contact lens eye test to measure the eye’s curvature for a comfortable fit and provide guidance on using and inserting contact lenses.
They focus on quality eye tests, handle eye care emergencies, and offer a variety of contact lenses, including disposable soft contact, bifocal/multifocal, Toric, and coloured lenses.
While Medicare covers a broad range of eye care services, it's important to note that not all eye exams are covered. More specific exams may incur additional costs, including those for contact lenses beyond the basic prescription range, vision therapy, or advanced dry eye diagnostics.
Private health funds typically do not cover eye exams, but many policies offer significant rebates on glasses, prescriptions, or contact lenses. Coverage varies widely between policies, with some covering up to 100% of costs associated with eyewear.
For Those Under 65: One comprehensive eye exam every three years, ensuring ongoing eye health monitoring. Eye Condition Tests: Regular tests offer crucial ongoing care as needed for individuals with glaucoma or macular degeneration.
