$200 callout fee, no service as I was led to believe.
Called Solarshop , a member of this group, because I could not read the display. Was offered a pensioner discount of $200 for a service, to make sure the system was working Ok and was told they would note that the display cover may be the problem so that they could address it at the same time.

RESULT: contractor arrived, removed the cover, checked the display and pointed out that it was updating and clear, and that was it. Lovelock Electrical then called to tell me that it would be $120 for the new cover, then justified it by saying that they would have to make 2 trips because the cover came from interstate, and their electricians had to be paid. They had originally assured me when i queried the scope for $200 that it would include checking the voltage and connections etc.
Spoke to SOLAR SHOP who said they thought $200 was reasonable for this service.
I paid $200 for a callout fee, when they could have advise me to remove the cover and check the display myself. All it required was an alan key.
