      Excessive Delay and Lack of Communication

      Hi all, I handed over my range hood on 27/12/ 25 for a simple motor replacement. As of 2/03/26, it is still not returned.

      For over two months, I have been given nothing but excuses. Every call end with “next week” and empty promises of a call back that never happens. Not once has anyone taken responsibility or provided a clear, honest update.

      This is extremely poor service and shows a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for customers. Keeping someone’s appliance for this long without proper communication is unacceptable.

      I have a 3-year-old at home, and this delay has caused major inconvenience to my family.

      Very poor service Centre. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind — avoid this place.

      This is a disgrace charging $110 to look at it and $148 to travel there $258 for pensioners washing machine.

      $88 bill for 90 seconds work

      Be careful about this mob. They came out to check our washing machine 3 hours after they said they'd be here, walked in, rattled the basket in the machine, said we needed a new one and walked out. 90 seconds at best. Just received an $88 bill from them. Amazing!

      Extremely unprofessional customer service

      This business should not be in business; they only continue to survive as customers have little choice in Ballarat with certain brands. Their customer service is breathtakingly unprofessional.

      Used Barclay's for a Fisher & Paykel Fridge that needed a repair to the fan. Found them to be very efficient, reliable, helpful and flexible, would be happy to reccomend their services to friends

      5 stars all the way! After bad service elsewhere & being told that my oven was not repairable, I found the office staff friendly & Karen the technician EXTREMELY good at what she does. Not only did she fix the problem, she explained what she was doing so that I understood what was wrong with my oven to begin with & also put up with my OCD whilst I cleaned parts of my oven that are usually hard to get to while she did repairs! I will HIGHLY recommend this company to family & friends in need of a reliable & efficient service. Thanks Alan, Karen & Melissa :) Keep up the great work!!

      Very bad service. Will not recommend this service to anybody. Very rude on the phone and unhelpful. Damaged our goods due to delivery and only having 1 person deliver. Had many visits all at funny times. Turned up after 6.30pm after waiting all afternoon, could not provide specific time when they would service either morning or afternoon (1-5). Will never use Barclays appliance centre ballarat again.
