Belmont City Medical Centre

Dr Lee Ling Tan at Belmont City Medical was extremely dismissive during my appointment. I was not allowed to explain my symptoms, was talked over constantly, and my requests for blood tests and referrals were refused. The consultation lasted only two minutes, and the doctor abruptly left the room while I was still speaking. So many others facing the same issues. Awful professional.



I encourage anyone who experiences unprofessional or disrespectful behaviour to report it to HADSCO and AHPRA. Patients deserve to be heard and treated with basic respect.

Went in, ZERO questions, care and flat-out spoke to me for less than 3 minutes and walked out without saying anything. I was still sitting in the office not knowing what was happening, then she called me from out front and apparently my appointment finished. So less than 3 minutes of zero care from this faux "doctor", charge medicare money for 'seeing me' but didn't not at all exercise any duty of care. I'm going to write to APRA and file a formal complaint about potential medicare fraud from this hack! DO NOT SEE Tan Lee Ling!!!!!!!

The doctor was rude and unempathetic. Informed to call back for results 8 days later. Called back and was charged $80 and they didn’t have the results. Asked could they call me when they have the results and they said “I don’t know.” Absolute joke of a place!!!!!

Whole place smells like toilet



There is no management for their appointments, always late and the reception is always rude especially when you called like they are so busy kind of attitude not listening what you trying to say ?!



If you can chose other medical centre don’t recommend this one to go.

Bad and horrible service .mate there no respect for time nor appointments, always late 1 to 1.5 hours

I just wanted a referral letter as I could have a possible genetic medical issue from my father and was very unhelpful. Refused to explain what possible symptoms were, assuming it was ‘obvious’ and mocked me. Finally went on a rant about symptoms to me after asking multiple times.

There was no WA Safe App code to scan, Dr. Nayar called me for the appointment while I was in the meeting room waiting to see her... She offered no advice or genuine service, was a useless visit.

Terrible time management from the doctors. Obviously overbook to get maximum dollars through bulk billing. Arrived 8 minutes early and 25 minutes past appointment time I'm still waiting.

Had enough of poor service as I was just there to get test results.

I’ve been to this practice twice, the first time I was helped by Dr. Tim quickly and effectively and I left happy and able to fix the problem.



Today I was seen by Dr. Nayar who TOLD me “I’d be an addict” “by the time I was 30” “taking 10 a day” “and “still wouldn’t be able to sleep" from the medication I was taking for my difficulty sleeping and then proceeded to try and put me on 4 different anti-depressants, anti-anxiety medications and even tried giving me antihistamines, which is NOT what I asked for.



She wouldn’t even tell me what the medication she was trying to prescribe me was made up of and didn’t want to take the time out of her precious day to explain what they did. She just rolled her eyes telling me “go to the gp who prescribed you 20” “stay with your old gp next time” “if you don’t like it go to a different doctor” “go talk to the manager if you don’t like it”.



It was the most appalling way someone has treated me when I’ve been in need, the way she spoke to me was as if she didn’t care about anything I was trying to explain.



She truely wasn’t interested and you could see the relief in her face when I got up to leave the room. It was absolutely disgusting the way the slurred her words, rolled her eyes, shook her head at me and continued to cut me off and not let me speak. At one point I had to tell her to stop cutting me off so I could fit one word in as I was trying to explain important details of my medical record.



Absolutely disgusting behaviour, I don’t see where someone with that many bad reviews (yes she’s also got a bad record of reviews) should be allowed to work with people in an establishment that should be a safe place. Absolutely revolting.

This clinic is absolutely disgusting! The doctors always seem to be annoyed, they are judgemental and shows no care towards their patients. Don't even understand how they became doctors. Went in for an appointment this morning and it was the worst way to start off my day. Would never recommend this clinic to anyone!!!
