The living body is a self-regulating system, a process known as homeostasis, the balance is maintained and health is expressed until something interfere with the proper controls: the end result is that any symptom or disease may show up.
The practice of chiropractic is aimed at analysing the spine and then neutralising the spinal dysfunction, a.k.a.Vertebral Subluxation, a major interference to the normal control of the body functions through a spinal adjustment; once the vertebral subluxation gets corrected, the body's ability to return to and maintain health, is enhanced.
In this office we do not treat symptoms and diseases, although many symptoms and diseases may disappear as a result of the return to normal functions.

If it was possible to eliminate the causes of vertebral subluxations we would not need chiropractic and the world would be a better place to live as subluxations affect the mind as well as the body; in that way chiropractic helps having a better world. We can list three causes to subluxations: physical, chemical and emotional.

Current technology enables modern auricular practitioners to not only locate active points but also detect polarity (Bahr-detector) and determine whether a gold needle or silver needle is indicated. The most sophisticated instruments, along with the fine perception of the VAS, are used and can determine which points are most active in identifying energetic blockages/foci, and the type of care that is needed for those points.
