The worst buffet imaginable! We came here for my fathers 70th Birthday. The kids play center attracted us to try it and boy were we let down!
Never in my life, or any of my family members for that matters, have we ever seen anything quite like it for a buffet. Most of the food was cheap, bulk, deep fried junk. Spring rolls, chips, fish bites, inedible chicken nuggets. Fried whole potatoes and pumpkin and hard rice. There was about 8 dishes on offer included all the fried junk.
The carvery!! Oh boy, what a treat... On offer was lamb and Turkey! Oh how lucky we were... Processed, translucent Turkey and rock solid, dry inedible lamb. The gravy was also like water, literally brown water. Did not even bother to try it.
EVERYTHING tasted like it lacked salt altogether, completely tasteless.
The only dessert they do themselves was bread and butter pudding. I love bread and butter pudding, but this was in shambles. Tasted like it was made with water, no taste, not sweet, nothing. What a mess. Would you like some ice cream with that pudding? Why yes please! "They may be able to get you some from the bar for a charge" wow, how generous! What about custard? "Nope, we only offer cream." The only dessert that was good were the pre-bought little caramel chocolate cake. Maccas stop on the way home as we all left hungry
.
I usually do not write reviews but I could not let this slide under the radar! If I could save 1 person some $$$ by avoiding this place, I will be happy. In all seriousness, avoid like the plague!

I have eaten here twice and neither time impressed me.
One with the extended familiy ordered the roast of the day. I figure you can never get a bad roast in a restaurant. Mulgrave Country club prove me wrong. Thin gravey, dry meat, potatoes half cooked and cold green veg.
Foolishly I came back with the family. the attaraction of an indoor playground to entertain the little one while we wait was the draw card. She loves chips but could not eat the ones served. I could not blame her as I only managed one or two myself. The burger was not up to standard either and dispite my wife stating she could not have onion in the salad and being assured this was not a problem, the salad was full of onion. We left with the meals half eaten. If I could give zero stars I would.
