Brooks Hire is a leading supplier of earthmoving equipment to the civil and mining industries throughout Australia.
Brooks Hire commenced in 1979 when Doug Brooks purchased two u/s compressors on bankcard. In 1982 Doug purchased the first piece of mobile plant an 8 tonne JEC crane, by tender, which Doug drove to Eneabba. At the time of buying the crane, Doug was operating the business from a shed at Eneabba working 18 hour days and living 5 days a week in a humpy at the back of a shed.
Brooks Hire now has over 3000 pieces of equipment available for hire including backhoes, breakers, dozers, dump trucks, excavators and attachments, forklifts, fuel trucks, graders, light towers, loaders, rollers, service trucks, side tippers, skid steers, tele handlers, tip trucks, tool carriers, water trucks and more. Brooks Hire gives clients the ability to hire low hour, late model equipment on short, long and permanent hire with full back-up service by our trade qualified staff.
To facilitate on-time delivery of plant, Brooks Hire Service has five modern low loaders in the fleet and a number of subcontractors available to deliver machinery to your designated site efficiently, economically and, most importantly, on time.
As part of our Occupational Health and Safety policy the safety and well-being of our staff and clients is paramount. Every machine is thoroughly checked by our experienced staff before delivering to ensure everything is operating correctly. Where applicable, equipment has been fitted with hazard lights, rotating beacons, fire extinguishers and reverse alarms.

What condition is your equipment?
We consistently acquire new machinery so that our clients receive low hour and late model equipment. We have the ability to purchase all new equipment for any major contract. We perform thorough checks on every piece of equipment prior to it leaving our yard. All of our machinery is backed by trade qualified staff that are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Where are you located?
We have nine branches conveniently located throughout Australia including Perth, Kalgoorlie, Karratha, Port Hedland, Brisbane, Dalby, Mackay, Sydney and Darwin.
