Just another example of Dons workmanship & service. He came out to fit my Permatrim after having purchased it couple of months back and hadn’t had a chance to get it into the workshop due to work.



I was looking at a hydrofoil set up but his advice and value add to our boat was 100% on the money in having something stable, sturdy & strong.



We’ve been taking our last 2 boats over 5 years now and he actually came recommended from the guy I bought my 2nd boat off as it was originally Dons boat back in the day (1975 Quinterex Fisherman- impeccable and showed Don looked afternit as all craft he services).



I had some minor engine issues that was as simple as a part missing but previous owner just made a short term bandaid solution......Don took it out in the water, went through it with a fine tooth comb and recommended a robust solution that other mechanics wouldn’t even find.



I saw a previous review about Don that was very negative and totally 360 degrees to what we know about Don and his business and felt compelled to post this........i take the safety of my family in the water very seriously and I would say this some the service up, no short cuts, transparent, fair in price & workmanship!



Furthermore, Don and the team will always find a way to fit you in at short notice, even if he has to put in the extra hours.



It’s always been easy, drop Bertha off......get a call if anything out of sync to check what you want to do and has it ready once you finish work.



This is local service at its best and enjoy!
