Who can claim Workplace Injury?

In some cases, if you are injured at work, you may be able to make a Work Injury Damages Claim in addition to your Workers Compensation Claim. Work Injury Damages Claims differ to Workers Compensation Claims in many respects. Most importantly, in a Work Injury Damages Claim you must establish that the injury arose as a result of the negligence of your employer.

How do I claim?

Total and Permanent Disablement claims can be complex, confusing and difficult to pursue. Our experience shows that getting it right from the start of the process is critical to a successful and prompt resolution. At Brydens, our lawyers and staff are specialists in the prosecution of Total and Permanent Disablement claims, and will be very happy to assist you in getting the best possible result.

What can be claimed?

If you are eligible to make a claim, benefits may include: Disability benefits. Income protection or salary continuance benefits. Death and/or terminal illness benefit.
