The Franklin Hotel

We stayed at the Franklin Hotel overnight and the room was simply stunning - Boutique Hotel accommodation at its best! We stayed in one of their 'Premium rooms' which had everything we could want; clean fresh newly renovated, massive light filled room, the nicest bathroom with a super deep free standing bath tub. I prefer to stay in smaller hotels with individual character than the larger chain 5 star hotels. So this suited me to-a-t for a weekend getaway. It is above a pub so we were warned it could become noisy. We stayed on a Saturday night and spend time outside the hotel at a wedding, so did not experience this as an issue.
