VideoPro ships through TNT. VideoPro has a shipping agreement with TNT for door-to-door delivery. I bought a TV from VideoPro. Apparently TNT interprets their contract with TNT for door-to-door delivery as "from our customers door to any other door we choose". I'm used to having to pay for my own last-leg freight due to where I live, but when the company states a firm door-to-door delivery policy, and checks my address to be sure they can honor that, I expect my parcel to come to my house, not to wherever the TNT driver shoved it out the door. They have sent my goods to Loxton at times (hours away), left them more than once at random businesses throughout the riverlands (the business owners had no idea why they had that item in their realty office) and this time the driver abandoned the item at an Australia Post about 45 minutes away. It's a flat panel TV. That requires the right sort of vehicle for transport so as to to not damage the TV. It has to remain upright. I'm disabled & I drive a Statesmen. I do not have a moving van. I can't get my item home without paying about $300 more in shipping & arranging it all myself. The primary job of a freight company is the logistics of arranging this sort of thing. And yet I know more about this than the people they employ. Why do I know more about the small shippers than TNT? It's their job not mine.

I wish I could give negative stars. TNT is the worst transport company in the world. I have been fighting to get shipments from them for over 15 years. Most of the time I can't get the parcel becaue the closest they will bring it is 4 hours from my home (an 8 hour round trip pretty much destroys the entire point of having it shipped to my home).
