I can't remember a time where I was more disrespected by a business owner. He did less than half of the job that I paid him for - I paid him for a full garden maintenance for a final bond clean, and all he did was mow the lawn. He didn't pick up palm fronds or weed the garden, and he even ran over a piece of rubbish with his lawn mower and sprayed white shreds all over the lawn, which he did not clean up (looked like paper towel). When I politely called to address the issue, he became extremely defensive and angry, coming up with ridiculous excuse after ridiculous excuse, but finally agreed to go back the following day to "smooth things over" (i.e. he would not admit he did anything wrong). Well, he did not go back for a week. I called him several times over the course of that week, and he had the audacity to say that I was PESTERING HIM. On top of this, when he finally went back, he demanded MORE money because he said he knew we wouldn't get our bond back without him finishing the job. This is akin to BLACKMAIL. Absolutely abhorrent behaviour. Will be filing complaints.

We made the mistake of paying the gardener for a job ahead of time, which he failed to complete. He did the absolute minimum (only mowed our lawn when we had agreed to palm frond pick up as well- how hard is that to do?), and then he essentially took our money and ran. When we followed up for him to complete the job that we had agreed to, he hemmed and hawed and then became rude and aggressive. He hung up on us and was extremely impolite on the phone. Would not recommend to anyone.
