Jack and Jill's lived up to their nursery rhyme namesake, it came tumbling down.
We awkwardly donned the ill fitting cotton gloves to explore their overpriced range for The Dress of her Dreams.
Sadly before we touched even just one it was suggested "they go to the sale rack".
Champagne, fancy rooms and tears of joy are what we envisioned for our wedding dress treasure hunt. What they gave us was an exposed room, a woman who expose your body without asking and tears of sadness.
The last thing a bride to be need to hear is comments on her body especially when she's stripped down in a changing room. "Being protective" is what they called it, I call it downright rude and disgusting behaviour.
If you'd like to be made to feel inferior and fat head up the hill at Jack and Jill's.
We however, ventured around the corner for personalised and memorable experiences at two other bridal wear stores. We also brought THE dress and not on the sale rack.
In the words of Julie Roberts in Pretty Woman I say to you "big mistake. Huge".
