Precision Differential & Gearbox

I was passing through Adelaide whilst driving to the East Coast, when my VY Commodore began to show signs of differential chatter. I took it to Smiths Holden at Port Adelaide for an opinion, who recommended I come here (the mechanic I spoke to said they send their repairs here for major diff work). The staff were friendly and helpful from the start, and took my car out with me and explained what the problem was.

After receiving a quote, I booked it in straight away. Couldn't find it cheaper on such short notice (as I was driving through), and the customer service was great.

The new diff works fine, and they have themselves a very happy customer. If I lived in Adelaide, I would definitely come back again.

Put to this place by a recommendation of a mechanic friend, I had my 2005 Holden Monaro CV8 gearbox and clutch worked on at this workshop (February 2013). The staff were very helpful and friendly, and were willing to go the extra mile for me to resolve the problem I had (Rattling from within the gearbox.)

Previously quoted for similar work at other shops for hundreds more, I was very impressed with the level of service I received here. They were willing to teach me along the way and show me through the process they went through to enact the repairs and provided me with various options and recommendations for how to go about the repair.

My differential/CV's are the next thing I'll be getting looked at, and I wont be going anywhere else!
