Chris' Plastering

After an initial contact and agreement on the job, I ordered doors and hinges for the job to be completed. We agreed on a date to install (via text message) and I took the day off work for him to come and enter my premises. He didn't turn up and did not return any of mny text messages or voicemail messages.. I don't understand that at all. A simple, I am not interested in yoru job anymore would have been all I needed. Unprofessional.

I originally hired Chris to plaster two walls for me and he went above and beyond even patching and finishing odd jobs outside of the agreed contract for no extra charge. Chris was punctual and cleaned up after himself. Definitely contacting in the future for work, would highly recommend.

We recently hired Chris for a bathroom renovation project, where we had demolished the bathroom back to the studs and required new plastering for the walls and ceiling. Chris did a fantastic job from start to finish. The quality of his work is great, he communicated very well, and worked with us collaboratively to resolve problems as they arose. I will use Chris again for our next plastering project, and highly recommend his services. Thanks Chris!

Chris fixed two large holes on our wall where the wall furnace was. The work was so professional, it made our lounge room look brand new. Chris' customer service and professionalism is 10 out of 10 outstanding. He has over 20 years experience and is very passionate about what he does and it shows in the results of his work. I used Chris to help with plastering work as part of our renovation a few months ago. He removed old damaged plasterboard, installed new plasterboard (finished to paint), patched damage that occurred during our renovation, and repaired damage to a decorative plaster archway.

Chris' customer service is excellent. Chris' quote was fair and he gave me a good explanation of how he would go about the project (much more so than from the other plasterers who quoted). I mentioned to Chris that as our renovation was dragging on, and I couldn't be certain when I needed him to come in for the work. He was very understanding. He checked in a few times just to check my progress. When I finally got to a stage I needed plastering, he came in to check the site again ahead of the start. Also, I mentioned I was installing new floors, and he was good enough to suggest he come in earlier than I proposed in order to make sure his work was complete to avoid damaging the flooring.

Chris was very efficient and the quality of his work was excellent - particularly the decorative arch, which I was worried about. I was on site doing some of our renovation as Chris worked, and he was kind enough to lend a spare hand when I needed one, and point out things I hadn't thought of. He left the site clean and tidy.

Having spent quote a few days working on site with him, I found him very personable and friendly and a geniunely good person. When my wife dropped by the house to check on the renovations and meet another trade about paint colours, he introduced himself (surprisingly rare amongst all the trades who I worked with), turned off his radio and even offerred to move to another room so they could talk without disburbance.

He was probably the best tradesman I had through a 7 month renovation.

I would definitely recommend Chris. I needed a plasterer in a bit of a hurry before getting our house painted and Chris was able to fit us. He was reliable, personable, turned up when he said he would and did a great job.

Chris is everything you want from a tradie. He is reliable, does what he says, plasters to a very high standard, and is honest and does not seek to price gouge. He did all these repairs on internal walls within days of my call to him and it was a quality finish. He was a pleasure doing business with and I would do so again.
