Why you should outsource your child’s party

What will a party venue and party host take care of for you?

On arrival

Your party host will be there to greet you and all your guests before the party commences. Your host will ensure that everyone – children and parents alike – knows where all the important things are – including your party area or room, and the all-important toilets. Once all your guests have arrived your host will get the party started and ensure that it keeps on going.

Entertainment

Depending on the type of venue and package you have booked, your party host will play some part in the entertainment during the party. This may mean leading the singing of "Happy Birthday", or it may be some form of character performance and entertainment, like a clown or even a balloon twister. The host will be on hand during your party to ensure that no-one is left out and that everyone is having a great time. In some venues the host will even provide supervision of the children as they play, however this is a detail worth confirming prior to the event.

Food and drinks

Your party host will ensure that your food and drink is served at the agreed upon time. Functions at party venues are usually inclusive of food on a per head price basis, your party host will be there to see that all the children get the right amount and, again, ensure no-one misses out.

Party favours and tokens

If your child’s party is at a games venue where tokens are part of your package, your party will be in charge of distributing these. In many cases your party host will also be the person who is in charge of getting more tokens, if your child runs out. The party host will also take care of the distribution of party favours like hats and balloons, either during or at the end of your party.

Party entertainers

If you don’t want to go all out and have a party at a dedicated children’s party venue, a simpler option can be to hire a specialist party entertainer to come to your home, or in fact to any other venue. Children’s party entertainers can be booked from one to several hours, and can deliver an amazing array of entertainment. Many entertainers will be able to lead a whole pack of children in games and supervised play for any length of time, leaving you and your adult guests to relax. Whatever your child’s interests or preferences, you will be able to find a professional party entertainer or group to suit.

Popular kids party entertainment themes and packages include:

  • Art and Craft
  • Sports
  • Farmyard
  • Reptiles
  • Cartoon and other characters
  • Cooking
  • Pamper
  • Balloon Twisting
  • Disco

Most importantly, the party host will take care of the set-up and clean-up of the party, leaving you peace of mind and more time to enjoy the day with your child and their friends.
