Bridal waltz – learning a few moves for your wedding
Index
It’s what every couple dreads – botching the bridal waltz in front of everyone on their wedding day!
Didn’t do dancing classes at school? Well, don’t worry, they’re still around.
It’s simple: choose a dancing school, a romantic song, a style and get your groove on.
There are heaps of dance studios teaching various styles, from Latin, including the Cha Cha and Merengue to the more Classical Ballroom styles such as the Waltz.
But, for modern couples, why not jazz it up with a package of dancing lessons that goes beyond the traditional waltz? Try the romantic rumba (a.k.a. the dance of love), a sensuous salsa, a quickstep, a foxtrot or some jive.
Typical wedding dance tuition usually involves three one-hour lessons. But some packages go up to 20 one-hour lessons and include partner spinning, dipping, lifting and zre guaranteed to give you the secret ingredient you’ll need most… confidence!
Bridal dance tuition prices vary, but as a rough guide expect to pay at least $50 per couple for a one-hour group lesson. Call your local dance school for a guide to tuition prices in your area.
