Yesterday I called just to enquire about a move back to Sydney. I just can not fathom how incredibly rude this guy was. I actually put the phone down thinking to myself did this actually just happen?

His response when I asked him for my quote was a snarky “you do realise Sydney a red zone honey.” First of all there is no need to chastise and talk down to me especially because I’m a young female.

Out of all people I know more than anyone what the current climate is in Sydney. It’s not like Covid happened yesterday. It’s been around for a while and also being an essential worker it’s not like I have a choice. I have to move.

Realistically I only asked for a quote. I wasn’t asking for any laws to be broken just what capacity you had and clarity on what you are able to provide me.

No need to be rude about it over the phone. I understand times are tough on everyone but it’s times like this where we should be working together and treating people with the respect and dignity they deserve.
