J & J Roofing did a roof and guttering job for me just before Christmas offering a reduced price for cash. They started off well doing a professional job but rushed the job to knock off for Christmas, didn't clean up the laserlite out the back, removed plumbing I had asked to be left untouched, didn't finish work as quoted and left me with water leaking into my laundry from a missing flashing. It took 6 weeks to get them back to rectify, except instead of doing a professional job they used an old damaged secondhand downpipe and instead of returning a pre-existing pipe to its original position stuck it straight in the middle of my laserlite which is visually ridiculous and unsightly and cut a hole in the laserlite and so it can't be moved back without replacing it. When I asked again to have the work made right they weren't interested. I now have to pay to rectify myself, plus the cost of an expert opinion to take the matter to the small claims court. My advice is do not use this company, or at least do not pay until the works are satisfactory to you. Paying in cash on the day was a big mistake as now they have been paid they have no interest in doing the right thing.
